HL Group’s EV solution company HL Mando and autonomous driving technology company HL Klemove participate in CES 2024, the largest IT exhibition in the world, from January 9th to January 12th. The two companies aim to present a more vivid picture of their vision of “Imagine Every Move” in our daily lives at CES 2024.
HL Group won four Innovation Awards at CES 2024. In particular, HL Mando’s parking robot “Parkie” was honored with the ‘Best of Innovation Award’, which is given only to thirty-six products, or one percent of about three thousand applicant products.
Equipped with Level-4 self-driving technologies, Parkie identifies obstacles, calculates its route, reads number plates, and judges the distances between tires and the center of the car’s mass to park the vehicle. As thin as nine centimeters, the valet parking robot can lift any type of vehicle from sports cars to SUVs. Parkie allows an efficient use of parking spaces, reducing the required parking space by thirty percent at maximum. The robot can also save parking facility expenses, reducing them by around twenty percent. During CES2024, HL Mando will demonstrate the valet parking robot in action at its booth.

Furthermore, HL Mando will showcase its data-driven automobile software solution “MiCOSA” at the exhibition. MiCOSA’s Data-driven Contents Solution prevents malfunctions while driving and provides an optimal driving condition by identifying road conditions using the cloud technology from Amazon Web Service (AWS). During CES 2024, HL Mando and AWS will sign a contract related to automobile software, reinforcing the cooperation between the two companies.
HL Klemove presents two innovative products that could be applied not only to mobilities but also to our daily lives. First of all, its portable radar Beetle houses HL Klemove’s automobile self-driving radar technology, winning the Innovation Awards in the Mobile Devices, Accessories & Apps category and the Smart Cities category. Aiming to be a portable, “handy” radar, the Beetle is the size of Apple’s AirPods. Its compact size allows it to be attached to scooters, electric bicycles, wheelchairs, kickboards, and other various mobilities. When attached, the radar identifies hazards around the user with a maximum range of twenty meters, notifying the user with sound and vibration upon detecting a potentially dangerous situation.
Another innovative product from HL Klemove is the Tire-Sync, which won the Innovation Award in the Vehicle Tech & Advanced Mobility category. The sensor is attached inside the tires, identifying the tread wear, tire temperature, car body load, and surface condition (frozen, wet, potholed, black-iced, etc.). Tire-Sync then relays the information to the braking, steering, and suspension systems to prevent accidents and enhance the driving performance of the vehicle. The sensor is an innovative alternative to the conventional Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and it is under development in collaboration with a global tire manufacturer. It is designed to be as compact as 1.7 centimeters and as light as 8.5 grams so as not to affect the performance of tires.
HL Klemove will showcase its other products at CES 2024 as well, including a total solution for self-driving such as its High-Performance Computer (HPC) equipped with a high-performance radar, high-resolution camera, and software.
You can meet Parkie, Beetle, and Tire-Sync at CES 2024. The booth for HL Mando and HL Klemove will be located at Booth #5466 in the West Hall of the CES Exhibition Hall in Las Vegas, CA. Please send your support for our ingenious innovations and see you at CES 2024!
